During the summer there is always something going on in Santa Cruz: Events, shows, night markets, festivals, sunset long boarding sessions and of course parties. Oh, and you shouldn’t miss the Festa da Póvoa, the yearly village fair with dinner, games, live music and „bailarico“, a Portuguese dance.
20 minutes south is Ericeira, a charming fishing town, which is famous as it was chosen in 2011 to be one of the eight World Surfing Reserves, the only one in Europe.
Santa Cruz is located on the quality gold coast. That means more than 10km long beaches with the official label “gold quality”! Best water quality and the cleanest beaches at Portugals coasts are guaranteed. The blue flags are proving this!

Just walking 1.5 kilometers to the next beach, you will find a little paradise, our home bach Praia da Vigia. The view from the cliffs to the beach will stay in your mind forever.
Cliff Surf House is located at the beautiful west coast, between Peniche and Ericeira, at the Atlantic ocean.
If the waves are not perfect in front of the house we will drive to Peniche, where consistent surf conditions are ensured all year long.
